Jeremy is the founder of Pencil PR, a Story-First communications and digital PR firm that powers growth through strategic storytelling. His work is built on one belief: Stories create value.
Where He's Made the Most Impact
Before launching Pencil PR, Jeremy led client strategy for real-estate, ed-tech, and impact organizations at Bevel PR, a fintech-communications startup acquired in 2023. He helped major founders, investors, and social-innovators secure national top-tier media appearances and craft breakthrough reputation-building editorial content.
Earlier, he served as press and public affairs lead for New York City—spearheading citywide narratives for the New York Housing Development Corporation and the NYC Department of Housing on the city's annual $1 billion investment into affordable housing and other major housing initiatives.
Journalism and Editorial Roots
Jeremy's career highlight in journalism was producing daily news and long-form audio stories for WNYC Radio, including The Brian Lehrer Show and The Takeaway. One of his productions on Aretha Franklin was named a Top 10 episode for The Takeaway in 2020.
His writing covers higher-ed policy, ed-tech, learning and industry developments. He has reported for Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, Higher Ed Dive, and the New York Daily News. He earned a master's degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and is a proud graduate of Morehouse College.
